The main forecourt at Slough station is usually buzzing with commuters and others catching a train or just passing by. Now everyone can grab a hand-crafted hot drink or artisan bake from Perk Coffee who have recently set up stall here. Trading from a bright, very distinctive pink mobile van you can’t miss Perk, operated and owned by Tom Hawes.

A great advocate for mental health support, Perk aims to help improve people’s social environment by providing mental health awareness along with delicious food and drinks. Part of Perk’s revenue is also donated to charity.

Owner and operator Tom said “Delighted to be open at Slough Station. We’ve just been named as a finalist in the National StartUp awards, so if you fancy affordable artisan coffee and bakes, come say hi!”

We give Tom a warm welcome to the GWR portfolio and wish him success both at the station but also with the StartUp awards.
