An empty retail unit at GWR Tiverton Parkway Station has been transformed into a stylish new ‘grab and go’ café. Local Devon business ‘West Country Larder’ are offering commuters and leisure travellers specialist barista coffee, iced drinks, home baked cakes, fresh sandwiches, wraps and pastries which have been an instant hit.
Leanne Knight from West County Larder commented “We’re thrilled to welcome commuters, locals and visitors to our smart new café. We’re offering great coffee, fresh home made cakes and bakes and we’re delighted to have created such an inviting and stylish space”.

West Country Larder is Leanne’s second café business on the GWR network. Leanne partnered with GWR in 2022 and has been operating the hugely successful Bulleid Buffet from Okehampton Station over the last 3 years. The Bulleid Buffet has built up an enviable reputation, attracting rail travellers from far and wide who enjoy home-made breakfast rolls, filled sandwiches, quiches and soups, delicious cakes and ice creams.

Amey PC&I have worked closely with Leanne over the course of the last 3 years. David Corp from Amey PC&I commented “West Country Larder is a brilliant addition to Tiverton Parkway Station. So much work has gone into creating the new café space. We wish Leanne every success as her business goes from strength to strength across the GWR network”
