Flying Bean Café, who are already an established operator on a number of train station sites including Gillingham, Portsmouth Harbour and Aldershot, have opened their first units on the Elizabeth Line in conjunction with GTS Rail Operations.
The tenant has opened two units on the station, one located in the waiting room on platforms 1 and 2 and the second at the station entrance where they refurbished a unit which formerly traded as a taxi office, and which had been vacant for a few years. The Flying Bean Café is an independent coffee shop business which prides itself on serving great coffee, quality food and friendly service in busy travel locations. So, whether you are waiting for your train on the platform, passing by the station or if you live locally, you can now enjoy a fresh barista coffee and a wide range of grab‑and‑go food to brighten up your day.

Owner Tom said ‘“We’re really excited to be one of the first new retailers to be introduced onto the Elizabeth Line since GTS started operating the services. We’ve had a very positive welcome at Burnham so far and we are confident that the business will grow successfully and become an established part of the local community. Burnham is a location we have had our eye on for some time given that our company is from Buckinghamshire, so it’s a big deal to us to be finally trading here. And that’s not all, next on our list is Langley station where we are aiming to be open by the end of the year so watch this space!”
