Passengers travelling through Portsmouth Harbour station can now enjoy fresh barista coffee and grab‑and‑go food following the opening of Flying Bean Café. This marks the second Flying Bean Café to open on the South Western Railway estate, building on the success of the brand’s first location.

The opening is another example of South Western Railway enhancing the customer experience through improved retail provision across its station estate. The retail unit had remained closed for a number of years prior to the new letting, and its reopening brings renewed activity, choice and vibrancy to the station environment. The tenant has been delighted with how customers have embraced the new café, with early trading providing encouraging signs as awareness continues to grow.

Tom Allen, Owner of Flying Bean Café, said:
“We’ve been really pleased with the response from customers since opening at Portsmouth Harbour. It’s great to see people enjoying the space and supporting the new café, and we’re hopeful that trade will continue to build as more passengers become aware that we’re open.”
