Following on from a successful start at Newbury station in 2022, established station catering operator Gourmet Coffee Bar & Kitchen have now opened their second unit on the GWR network, this one in the booking hall on Didcot Parkway station. A third unit, located on platforms 4/5, will start trading imminently.

Interest over the first few days of trading has been very positive with customers and staff alike welcoming the fresh retail offer onto the station.

Owner Nick Garnell said "Gourmet Coffee is very excited to be building the relationship with GWR and now bringing speciality coffee and lovely food to the passengers and visitors at Didcot Parkway. It has been a pleasure working with Kim and the station team and from the early signs after opening this week it looks like it is going to prove popular!"
