Figures from the ORR stipulate that in 2019/20 (pre-Covid) the station had 2,590,718 entries and exits and 240,708 interchanges. In the year ended Mar 2022 annual entries and exits were 1,793,710 with 169,069 interchanges.

Location
The site is located on the main station forecourt to the right of the main station building and adjacent to both the car park, taxi ranks and station bus stop.
The Landlord is looking for a high quality retail / catering operator trading from a vehicle that is self-sufficient. No utility services will be provided.
Agreement Details
A periodic licence agreement determinable upon 28 days’ notice by either party.
The licence will not permit assignment or sub-letting.
Rent
Licence Fee to be negotiated. The Licence Fee will be a combination of minimum guaranteed licence fee with supporting turnover rent provisions. VAT is payable.
A licence fee deposit will be payable.
A credit check will be undertaken.
User
The Landlord is looking to secure a high quality catering operator(s) and will welcome offers from local independent businesses. The site maybe available at different periods throughout the trading day and interest from both morning and evening operators is invited.
Interested parties should note that the site availability can be impacted at times due to station event management restrictions.
Utilities
The tenant’s vehicle will require to be self-sufficient and no utilities are being provided.
Other Costs
The incoming tenant will be expected to pay the Landlord’s legal costs in connection with the grant of the licence. These costs are anticipated at £800 plus vat.

Licensees should contact the local Council to determine whether a separate street trading licence needs to be applied for.

David’s career in the rail industry started with BR and he held a number of operational station management posts with Network Rail as well as Station Access Contract management and retail/ commercial positions. Working in both of these departments gave David a broad knowledge of station access issues along with the management of commercial contracts including advertising and promotions, left luggage, ATMs and vending. Having previously managed the client relationships with Southeastern, GTR, TfL, and Scotrail and West Midlands Trains, he is now responsible for overseeing Amey TPT's property management contract with GWR.
