Continuing their expansion eastwards, GWR are very pleased to welcome Cornwall’s very own Warrens Bakery who have opened on platform 5 on Slough station. This is Warren’s second store on the GWR network and their third outlet in the UK rail market following the opening of their store on Basingstoke station in May this year.

The world’s oldest pasty maker, they operate from over 45 bakeries across the West Country and South Wales and are pleased to add the south east to their geographic coverage.

The store can be found on platform 5 on the station, where both GWR and Elizabeth Line London bound services depart. Passengers will now be able to enjoy the wide range of hot and cold drinks, pasties, pastries, cakes and sandwiches that are available.

Katie Anderson, Head of Travel at Warrens Bakery said “"We're excited to announce the opening of our new bakery at Slough station. This marks another milestone in Warrens Bakery’s growth in the travel sector and our ongoing partnership with Amey TPT. After our successful launch in Bath and Basingstoke, we’re thrilled to expand further eastward and bring a taste of Cornwall to Slough, offering our traditional and innovative baked goods to new customers.

Amey TPT has been a great partner, making the process smooth with clear communication and transparency all the way through."
