As part of the widespread investment programme Select Service Partner have converted their second Pumpkin on the South Western Railway network to new brand Café Local.   Located on platform 4, the newly fitted unit opened to customers in December.  

Using energy efficient materials and new equipment, the new retail unit will reduce carbon consumption and assist the retailer and South Western Railway on their ambitious targets.    

Café Local offers a range of products from barista coffee and other hot drinks, a selection of cakes, bakes, paninis and toasties and a wide range of retail goods including confectionery, sandwiches, cold drinks, alcohol and travel essentials that will meet the demands of passengers travelling through the station at any time of day.

In 2024 further conversions will be undertaken at Woking, Winchester, Southampton Airport Parkway and Havant.
