Specifically to coincide with the opening day of the Commonwealth Games, Amey TPT and Avanti West Coast are pleased to welcome Project D as a Pop Up at Birmingham International.

The unit is located on the link bridge to the National Exhibition Centre and will trade throughout the summer providing an additional food and beverage offer for station users with a view to a longer occupation should the trial prove a success

The store is operated as a franchise by TJ Choongh, the son of a longstanding Avanti tenant Shing Choongh who has been the tenant of the adjacent Subway store for many years.

TJ commented “I just want to thank the Amey TPT and Avanti teams for allowing us the opportunity to open the first ever Project D store in a station, at Birmingham international. The entire process of finding the site and agreeing on terms in order to get us open for the Commonwealth Games couldn’t have been easier.
