Amey PC&I are proud to have worked with Pret A Manger to open new stores at Richmond and Coventry Stations in the run up to Christmas 2025.

Richmond Station (South Western Railway)

Pret has officially opened its doors on the upper concourse of Richmond Station, bringing fresh food and coffee to one of London’s busiest commuter hubs. The opening follows a major station refurbishment that earned the Railway Heritage Trust Conservation Award for its meticulous restoration of Richmond’s iconic Art Deco features, including bronze fascia panels, Glasscrete canopy, timber friezes, and green glass signage. Pret’s arrival adds modern convenience to this celebrated heritage setting.

Coventry Station (Avanti West Coast)

Coventry Station now boasts its own Pret, offering travellers and locals a wide range of sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and hot drinks. The store, which opened on 15 December, operates daily from 5:00 am (for travellers on the first departure from the station) to 7:00 pm.  It has created 16 new jobs for the local community. To mark the launch, the first 100 customers enjoyed a complimentary breakfast. The opening strengthens Coventry’s position as a key West Midlands transport hub, combining improved passenger amenities with Avanti West Coast’s commitment to customer experience.

These openings highlight Pret’s continued expansion across UK rail stations. Richmond’s award-winning restoration and Coventry’s modern facilities now offer travellers the perfect spot to grab quality food and coffee on the go.
