Hook station is welcoming a fresh addition to its retail line-up, with the opening of The Bean Stop, a new independent coffee destination located on Platform 1. The unit is operated by Lauryn Turner, a local entrepreneur with a passion for creating a welcoming space for both commuters and the local community.

The Bean Stop offers high-quality coffee, freshly prepared snacks, and friendly, personal service, providing travellers with a convenient stop without compromising on quality. The retail unit has been fully refurbished at the end of 2025 and opened to commuters and rail users on Saturday 10th January 2026.

Speaking about the launch, Lauryn said:
“I wanted to create a place that feels like more than just a coffee stop – somewhere people can enjoy great products and great service. Hook Station felt like the perfect location to make that happen.”
The opening of The Bean Stop marks an exciting milestone for both Lauryn and Hook Station, enhancing the station’s amenities and introducing a new community-focused space for rail users. Whether catching an early train or stopping by during the day, customers can expect quality coffee and a warm welcome.
