A day at the beach in Dawlish this summer just got a whole lot better…..passengers arriving by train have been enjoying delicious Italian gelato ice cream from The Ice Cream Shed, newly opened at GWR's Dawlish Station.

The Shed Sandwich Bar Limited have traded for 4 years from premises on the edge of town and have been seeking additional premises in Dawlish town centre. 

Dean Fletcher from Sandwich Shed commented “We’ve spent time looking for the right town centre opportunity.  We’re transforming the vacant café and kiosk space at Dawlish Station and are really looking forward to offering a friendly Dawlish welcome to passengers arriving by train.  Our new kiosk serves coffees, teas, snacks and ice creams on the go.  Work starts shortly on our new café which will offer indoor seating and the full menu that Sandwich Shed has become so well known for.  We’re really excited”
