South Western Railway customers using Egham station including the wider Egham community are  now able to enjoy are now able to enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks from the new Carry on Coffee retail unit.  Located just outside the main station building, Carry on Coffee have tastefully restored a former container and converted it for retail use.  

Carry on Coffee also trade from Virginia Water station and acquired the site at Egham as their second retail premises on the South Western Railway estate.

Egham station lost a retail unit to serve customers when the automatic ticket gates were installed in 2019.  The provision of utilities and ground works for the new retail unit was made available through a successful application for Department of Transport funding made through an application from the operator.  Amey PCI advised the client on the application, acted as letting agents and provided Building surveying services to tender for the necessary works, obtain all necessary consents and arrange for the installation.

Mark Hill, Managing Director for Carry on Coffee said, “We are delighted to be open at Egham.  It has been a pleasure to start to get to know new customers.  We have received so many positive comments since opening.  It is wonderful to be part of the Egham station and wider community.  In addition to our current food range following a successful trial we shall shortly be introducing Cornish pasties and Danish pastries.”
