Axminster Station – The Ale Way opens
Amey TPT | 04 June 2021
Following lifting of lockdown restrictions, the Ale Way opened its doors to serve Axminster and the local community on 21st May.
In advance of the letting energy efficiency improvements were undertaken to the premises by South Western Railway and after a successful application for a change of use, the tenant has undertaken a spectacular fit out that has transformed the former Station house into a public house. AmeyTPT, agents for South Western Railway project managed the energy efficiency works and acted on the clients behalf on leasing the premises. The Ale Way micropub stocks a continually changing range of independent real ales, fresh craft beers and ciders, many of which are locally brewed. The Ale Way is a further addition of craft ale micropubs on our clients networks serving customers during their journey and the local community that the station serves.
