Birmingham International Station is approximately 10km outside Birmingham city centre, close to both the M6 and M42. It is popular as a Park and Ride Station for both long and short distance commuters.

The latest figures available from the Office of Rail Regulation (2018/19) estimate over 6.9 million passenger entries and exits at the station with additional footfall from users of the adjacent Airport and National Exhibition Centre complex.
