Sutton Coldfield station is 7 miles from central Birmingham. The station is beautifully designed with Victorian architecture with red bricks and elaborate ceilings and pillars. The main station building is built on a hill with a tunnel running underneath.

Operated by West Midlands Trains, regular services run from Redditch to Birmingham New Street as well as being on the Lichfield Cross-City Line. Services from the station stop at Four Oaks, Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley. Trains also run to Longbridge, Redditch and Bromsgrove.

Passenger entries and exits on the station in 2017-18 are 1,624,334 (source ORR).


An opportunity has arisen at Sutton Coldfield Station, located directly on the left-hand-side when entering the main concourse doors. The trader will need to have a self-contained kiosk which will be situated opposite the ticket office.

There is one retail unit operating at the station.


A 3-year licence is on offer on an annual licence fee of £2,000(excl. of VAT) with supporting turnover percentage.

A licence fee deposit will be payable a credit check will be undertaken

The kiosk must have its own power supply with on board water and provision for waste water. No utilities will be provided.

The Licensee will need to have adequate public liability insurance.


The location identified in the booking hall is ideal for local florists.


The Licensee will be responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from the Local Authority.
