Sandwich Station



An opportunity exists for a mobile coffee operator to trade from the forecourt of Sandwich station. Information from the Office of the Rail Regulator stipulates that in 2013-14 Sandwich station had 250,398 passenger entries and exits. Sandwich station is located in Kent. The station is served by Southeastern Trains to London Charing Cross. High Speed services during the peak also run to London St. Pancras International.


The opportunity is for a licensee to trade from the forecourt area of the station. LSER are looking for a high quality operator to meet the needs of the customers. The opportunity primarily comes from the morning peak services. There are 13 services to central London prior to 1000 each weekday.


The opportunity is being offered on a licence term to January 2019. Standard Railway Terms will apply. The licence will not permit assignment or subletting.


We are looking for offers in the region of £1,500 plus VAT per annum. The licence fee will be reviewable by RPI during the term. A licence fee deposit will be payable.


The incoming Licensee will be expected to pay the Licensor’s reasonable legal costs in connection with the grant of the licence. These costs are currently £495 plus VAT.
