An opportunity exists to lease a catering unit on Platforms 1 /2 at Nunhead railway station.
The retail unit is located in Nunhead which is a Borough of Southwark in Zone 2.
Train services at the station are operated by GTR and run to London Victoria, London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks. Total passenger entries and exits in 2017-18 were in excess of 1.171 million per annum (source: ORR 2017/18).
The unit is the only commercial unit on the station and has recently undergone refurbishment to re-open windows and reconfigure the entrance and has been re-decorated throughout.
The unit measures approximately 12 sq.m (131 sq.ft).
The unit has 32amp metered single phase power, water and drainage. The tenant will have use of a toilet on the platform.
A six year lease is being offered. The lease will be excluded from the security of tenure provisions of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954. Standard railway lease terms will apply. The lease will not permit assignment or sub-letting.

A rent deposit will be payable. We will be required to undertake credit checks on the successful retailer.

The tenant will be responsible for any business rates levied on the property.
The incoming tenant will be expected to pay the Landlord’s and Superior Landlord’s reasonable legal costs in connection with the grant of the lease of approximately £2600 plus vat.
