An opportunity has become available for a tenant to
take a new lease on the vacant unit in the booking
hall at Catford Bridge station.


Information from the Office of the Rail Regulator
stipulates that in 2015/16 Catford Bridge station had
in excess of 2.402 million passenger entries and exits
(source ORR).
Catford Bridge station is located in the London
borough of Lewisham in Travelcard Zone 3. Regular
services run to London Cannon Street, Waterloo
East, Charing Cross and Hayes.


The unit is located in the ticket hall of the station and
is suitable for a number of retail uses. The unit is
approximately 185 sq. ft. in size and is offered in
good condition.


Subject to the consent of the Superior Landlord,
Network Rail Infrastructure Limited a 6 year term may
be available.
The lease to be excluded from the security of tenure
provisions of the 1954 Landlord & Tenant Act.
Standard Railway Lease Terms will apply. The lease
will not permit assignment or sub-letting.


The incoming tenant will be expected to pay the
Landlord’s and if applicable, the Superior Landlord’s
reasonable legal costs in connection with the grant of
the lease.


We are looking for offers in the region of £8,000 plus
VAT per annum.
Rent is payable quarterly in advance by standing order only.


The incoming tenant will be required to provide
detailed annotated shop fit plans and signage
proposals demonstrating a high quality shopfit for the
Superior Landlord and Landlord’s approval.


The incoming tenant will be responsible for Business
Rates and we recommend that anyone interested
contact the Local Rating Authority.


There is currently no service charge for the premises.
The landlord reserves the right to introduce any
charge in the future. The tenant will pay towards
refuse collection.
