Mobile Food and Hot Drinks Opportunity


Alfreton Station is managed by East Midlands Trains and provides regular train services to major regional towns including Nottingham, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Leeds

Alfreton Station is on the outskirts of the town, a short distance from Junction 28 of the M1.

Passenger entries/exits are 268,698 in 2014/15.


Licence allows for a mobile catering vehicle to trade in the Station Car Park (exact location to be agreed from time to time).  The operator will be able to sell cold and hot food, hot and cold drinks (non-alcoholic), snacks, confectionery and (if desired) newspapers.


Licence to be granted to March 2018, subject to mutual break on one month's notice after an initial six months.

Licence Fee

An annual licence fee of £1,000 plus VAT payable monthly in advance.  A rent free period of two months will be available.

Deposit of £120.


The Licensee will meet the Licensor's legal costs of £495 plus VAT.

The Licensee will also be required to pay £75 plus VAT for a credit check.
